Mark Taylor, a graduate of the University of Auckland, founded Bon Pacific Trading in 1987, a business that provided steel material and equipment both for general distribution and for projects in the Pacific region. Today, Bon Pacific has customers in Australasia, the Pacific Islands, Middle East, Caribbean and Africa.

In 1998, Mark Taylor established a new division, FRAMECAD Solutions, to take advantage of the growing need for steel frame design and building solutions. Taylor’s idea to integrate the process of turning design into buildings by generating a 3D model with cold formed steel manufacturing plant revolutionised the way steel frame operations worked. Today, FRAMECAD is the leader in providing end-to-end steel frame building solutions.
